Job Title: Integration Engineer

Location: Warton – Hybrid, 3-4 days a week on site

Salary: £51,772+ depending on experience

Job Description:

As an Integration Engineer, you will be developing and operating the integrated technical management aspects of a weapons programme including strategy, planning, developing the management system, risk, assumptions, management by maturity, decision management.

Core duties:

* Performing Engineering Integration activities such as authoring management plans, coordinating technical reviews, capturing design decisions, managing critical features and engineering risks and opportunities
* Ensuring high quality and timely artefacts are delivered in line with programme requirements
* Leading engineering planning, management and review activities
* Supporting the development of Engineering priorities to ensure overall programme aims are achieved
* Developing strong relationships with other team members & external stakeholders such as Ministry of Defence
* Supporting maturity assessments of the developed solutions to ensure they are appropriate for each of engineering lifecycle phases

Essential Skills:

* A degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent relevant experience
* Experience of WOME Systems and Logistic Support activities through the complete lifecycle, including disposal
* An understanding of weapons engineering processes, standards and governance.
* Knowledge of Tornado is desirable
* Experience of integration weapons on airborne aircraft

The RSAF Tornado Weapons team:

The RSAF Tornado remains fully operational, and the weapons programme remains one of the corner stones that will underpin the platforms operational capability to the RSAF Tornado Out of Service Date.
