Vehicle Technician Required - Chelmsford

We are currently recruiting an experienced Technician to join our client’s busy workshop in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, well-rounded motor trade professional looking to develop their career with a forward-thinking team.

What's on Offer?

Basic salary from £40,000 depending on experience

Monday to Friday working pattern, no weekends

Modern workshop setup with an existing MOT bay and three testers

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:

Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults efficiently

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and general workshop duties to a high standard

Maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed to specification

Work collaboratively with the team to keep jobs flowing smoothly

Support quality control to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy

Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:

Proven experience as a Technician within a motor trade environment

Strong diagnostic skills and a practical, problem-solving approach

Quality-focused attitude with the ability to work to deadlines

Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

MOT testing experience is not essential, as the site already has experienced testers
