We’re seeking a genuinely caring, hands-on Support Worker with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker, you'll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of individuals!

Our intensive support service in Dumfries is activity-based and supportive, ensuring no two days are the same! You’ll enhance lives by teaching new skills, supporting personal care, encouraging community access, socialising, and engaging in various activities. One day might involve visiting theme parks, swimming, family visits, or outings to the theatre.

This role is ideal for someone eager to make a real difference, helping individuals grow in confidence and independence to meet their goals, whether it's cooking dinner or going on holiday.

We value the right skills and values. Support Workers should be resilient, flexible, and calm, preferably experienced in following Positive Behaviour Support plans, reflective practice, and supporting individuals with behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories, or trauma. If you're new to this field, a genuine caring attitude and a desire to learn are essential.
