Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal

Up to £65,000 FTE DOE plus relocation allowance up to £3,000 and welcome bonus up to £5,000
Join Kingston Vets, part of the inspiring vet care network, as a part‑time Veterinary Surgeon. You will work across our two purpose‑built practices in Sherborne and Yeovil, handling a varied caseload of cats, dogs, rabbits and small furries with a strong emphasis on case continuity and high clinical standards.
Responsibilities
* Deliver consultations, routine work and complex surgical procedures including orthopaedics, dental, splenectomies and other medical/surgical cases.
* Own your cases from start to finish, following them through and taking pride in clinical outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with the clinical team to maintain a high standard of patient and client care.
* Attend 8:30 am – 6:30 pm across two days with a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota (8:30 am–12:30 pm). No out‑of‑hours or on‑call commitments.
Qualifications
* Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
* Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
* A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
* Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
