About The Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure the delivery of exceptional clinical care that exceeds professional standards and legal requirements. Your responsibilities include providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking charge of resident care in the absence of the Home Manager, and supervising colleagues to deliver empathetic, resident-centered service.
About You
HC-One seeks a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and familiarity with the NMC code of practice. Experience in person-centered care planning within a care home setting is essential. You should possess positive energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor and manage your time effectively. Compassionate and considerate communication with residents and colleagues is vital.
You should value kindness, which is fundamental to our approach across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our team understands that residents are individuals with unique stories, and joining HC-One offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, attend appropriate safeguarding training, and know how to report concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
