Year 1 Primary Teacher – Long-Term to Permanent Opportunity
Exclusive Education are proud to be working with a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Orrell, Wigan, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher for a Year 1 class.
This is a long-term position starting 20th April and running until the end of the academic year, with a clear pathway to transition into a permanent position with the school for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic teacher looking to secure a longer-term role within a supportive school environment.
The Role:
* Full responsibility for a Year 1 class
* Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Demonstrating strong phonics knowledge and experience
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Working as part of a friendly, experienced, and supportive staff team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE, B.Ed., or BA Hons)
* Have recent experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 1
* Demonstrate strong phonics teaching experience
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Provide two recent references covering the last two years working with children
* Hold a current DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
