Arcus FM are recruiting for an electrically biased M&E Engineer to join our dedicated Facilities Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an award-winning FM provider, delivering high-quality services to our site based client.
What We Offer:
1. Competitive Salary – Up to £36,630 per annum
2. 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
3. Enhanced overtime rates for additional earnings
4. Annual bonus (up to 4%) - subject to performance (historically paid out)
What You'll Be Doing
About the Role:
As a M&E Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive works, and general building services across your allocated site.
Responsibilities include:
5. Electrical PPMs
6. Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
7. Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance
8. Fault finding and general repairs
9. Delivering autonomous and high-quality technical services
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, self-sufficient, and confident working across both electrical and mechanical systems.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
10. 18th Edition qualification
11. NVQ Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
12. Valid UK driving licence
13. Proven experience in a similar M&E role
14. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
15. Solid understanding of health & safety protocols
Desirable Qualifications:
16. F-Gas Certification
17. IOSH Working Safely qualification
18. Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance experience
Additional Information:
19. 40-hour working week (Monday–Friday)
20. Participation in a 1-in-6 week call-out rota, including weekends
