SEND Teaching Assistant
£415 – £500 a week.

Connex are currently looking for a team of dedicated and empathetic SEND Teaching Assistant’s to join the team and help make a real difference in the lives of children with SEND. This role includes supporting classes with mixed age groups across KS1 and KS2 and varied needs and abilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND, both in and outside of the classroom.
* Assist with creating and delivering tailored learning plans that suit the needs of individual students.
* Help manage and adapt the learning environment to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all students.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to implement effective strategies for progress.
* Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing in SEND students.
* Support students in developing social skills and participating in classroom activities

**Role Requirements**
* Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is essential.
* Previous experience working with SEN Students would be desirable.
* Team Teach trained would also be desirable.
* Previous experience working in Educational is essential.
* A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom.
* An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
