A successful and forward-thinking secondary school and Sixth Form in Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its well-established department from January 2026. What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who:
* Holds QTS, PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Has strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach at GCSE and A-Level in one or more specialisms
* Plans and delivers engaging, practical lessons that foster curiosity and deep understanding
* Uses assessment and feedback effectively to promote rapid progress
* Works collaboratively within a large, supportive team and contributes to the wider life of the school
Experience in leading enrichment, STEM clubs or fieldwork projects would be an advantage.

The Role in More Detail
You will teach Science across the age range, preparing students for public examinations at both GCSE and A-Level. Lessons will combine theory, practical work and real-world application, encouraging curiosity and a love of discovery. You will assess and track progress, ensuring all students are supported and challenged to reach their potential.
You will also have opportunities to contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development and extra-curricular science enrichment, including clubs, competitions and partnerships with local organisations and universities.
