£12.71 per hour (PAYE)
40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting Basic Highways Operatives to support the Gloucestershire Highways maintenance team. Successful candidates will be based from Cirencester depot, but work may take place across various depots throughout Gloucestershire depending on operational needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into highways or construction work, with training provided and potential for long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting with highways maintenance and improvement works
*
Supporting road repairs and general outdoor labour tasks
*
Helping set up and maintain safe working areas on highways
*
Working with highways teams across different depots in Gloucestershire
*
Following health and safety procedures on site
Requirements
*
Full UK driving licence (essential)
*
Experience in manual labour roles (construction, landscaping, waste/refuse, factory work etc.)
*
Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
*
Reliable and hardworking
