Location: Cheltenham / Gloucestershire
Salary band: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
Clearance: Willingness to undergo a security clearance process is required

What You'll Be Doing
* Providing first and second-line technical support across complex virtualised environments
* Monitoring system performance to ensure stability, availability, and seamless functionality
* Creating and maintaining high-quality documentation to support operational excellence
* Supporting compliance with established processes, standards, and security policies
What You'll Bring
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Experience working to ITIL best practices
* A mindset focused on root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
* A collaborative approach - sharing knowledge and learning from others
* A proactive attitude towards identifying risks, issues, and opportunities
Desirable Skills
* Deep understanding of virtualisation technologies
* Experience installing, upgrading, configuring, or supporting: Windows Server 2016/2019, AWS, Azure
* Knowledge of Red Hat technologies (Satellite 6, OpenShift 3/4, RHEL/CentOS, CoreOS)
* Understanding of Active Directory (OU creation, RBAC, DFS)
* Familiarity with VSAN, SCVMM, Hyper-V
* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN)
* Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Git)
* Awareness of McAfee EPO/ENS
