Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Care Worker and Social Care Leader for its client at Longford, Ireland.
This residential care service is dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred, trauma-informed support to young people. The focus is on creating a safe, nurturing environment where each young person feels valued and supported to achieve positive, lasting outcomes.
A new home is opening in Abbeys rule, and we are seeking passionate Social Care Workers and experienced Social Care Leaders to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the culture and environment from the very beginning.
Reporting To: Deputy Social Care Manager

What will your responsibilities be?
Social Care Worker:
1. Provide person-centred care and support to young people
2. Promote independence, education, and emotional wellbeing
3. Work collaboratively within a trauma-informed, values-driven team
Social Care Leader:
4. Lead and support a team of Social Care Workers to maintain high standards of care
5. Work closely with management to foster a positive and nurturing environment
6. Contribute to team development and the effective operation of the service

Requirements:
To be successful in this role you must have,
11. Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care (CORU-approved or eligible)
12. Full, clean manual driving licence
13. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleepovers (Social Care Worker)
14. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Social Care role (for Social Care Leader)
15. Strong knowledge of HIQA/Tusla standards and trauma-informed practice (for Social Care Leader)
