SEMH Classroom Support
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Classroom Support professional to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support teachers in managing challenging behavior and creating a safe, structured learning environment
2. Deliver targeted interventions to support students’ social, emotional, and mental health needs
3. Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans
4. Encourage positive relationships and help students develop resilience and coping strategies
5. Monitor and report on students’ progress and wellbeing
Person Specification:
6. Proven experience working with children with SEN, preferably in SEMH settings
7. Skilled in managing challenging behavior with patience and consistency
8. Strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health needs
9. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
10. Compassionate, resilient, and adaptable
