Youll be the point of contact for logistics in and out of sight. Weighing vehicles (lorries/trains) checking that the weight of the loads are correct, issuing the correct documentation whether thats deliver documents, waste management documentation or scrap transactions. Youll need keep safety at the forefront of your mind and ensure that drivers follow site rules and have the correct PPE, and able to challenge when something is right.
Youll be a strong communicator as youll be communicating with drivers as well as internal departments such as our planning team.Using internal databases to ensure or documentation and records are accurate, you will need to someone is comfortable using Microsoft Office.
