SCR is a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment with state-of-the-art research and computing facilities. We work on applied research projects in the physical sciences to meet the current and future challenges of the industry. Description & Scope The intern will work as part of a team and be mentored by a Data Scientist. They will work on a project focused on Machine Learning and Optimisation. While working on this project, the intern will have autonomy to decide the approach and how to solve the research problem. This will enable them to develop their knowledge of Data Science, generative AI and time series data. The intern will also participate in the research centre knowledge sharing and poster events. At the end of the project, the intern will write a project report and present the project to the peers. Responsibilities Work with research scientist in the centre to develop and test AI models Analysing and interpreting experimental datasets. Participating in regular meetings to discuss project progress. Writing technical reports and presenting to peers. Qualifications Studying a Bachelors in Computer science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science or a related discipline Oral and written communication skills in English Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork, and ingenuity Knowledge of AI/ML SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
