Company Overview
We are looking for a highly organised Education Modification Administrator to support our busy Modification Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a degree and strong administration or coordination skills who enjoys working with detail, managing tasks efficiently, and keeping projects running smoothly.
You'll play a key role in supporting our modification specialists, ensuring that adapted educational resources are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard. Alongside light-touch modification work (for which full training will be provided), you'll take responsibility for essential administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate records, scheduling, preparing reports, and typing up meeting notes.
This role would suit someone who is methodical, enjoys clear processes, and thrives in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the adaption and modification of educational resources to ensure accessibility for learners with visual or hearing impairments (training provided).
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Modification team, tracking jobs, updating schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Take clear and accurate notes in meetings, producing professional written summaries for internal and external use.
* Prepare and proofread accurate correspondence, reports, and records with excellent attention to detail.
* Liaise with colleagues, external consultants, and education professionals to support the modification process.
* Assist with outsourcing, scheduling, and team coordination tasks as required.
* Ensure all resources meet internal quality assurance (QA) standards.
* Contribute to onboarding and supporting new staff members.
Person Specification
Essential
* Degree-level qualification.
* Excellent written English with outstanding attention to detail.
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
* A clear communicator who works well both independently and in a team.
* Able to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines.
* Commitment to confidentiality and data security in a professional environment.
Desirable
* Experience of administration or project support in a busy office or service setting.
* Knowledge of accessible formats, SEN provision, or supporting learners with additional needs.
* Background in Maths or Science (teaching, tutoring, or support).
