SHEQ Co-Ordinator
Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for an experienced SHEQ Co-Ordinator to join our operation. This role will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of SHEQ standards across a BRC-certified warehouse and its associated HGV transport operations. The role ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements while promoting a proactive safety culture.
The Details:
* Salary: £29,322.07 Per Annum
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
* Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00
* Based on a basic 42 hour working week

Key Responsibilities:
Safety
* Conduct site safety inspections and audits across warehouse and transport operations.
* Support accident/incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions.
* Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to warehouse operatives and drivers.
* Monitor and promote safe systems of work, including manual handling, vehicle movements, and loading/unloading procedures.
Health
1. Ensure occupational health risks are identified and controlled (e.g., noise, manual handling, driver fatigue).
2. Support health surveillance programmes and liaise with occupational health providers.
