We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. As a Dance Instructor, you will create a positive and engaging learning environment, helping students develop their skills, confidence, and love for dance.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging GCSE dance lessons tailored to the skill levels of students.
* Teach various dance styles, ensuring proper techniques and safety measures are followed.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
* Prepare students for performances, competitions, or examinations as required.
* Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
* Maintain an organised classroom environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and well-maintained.
* Collaborate with other instructors to develop dance programmes and events.
* Stay updated with the latest trends in dance education and continuously improve teaching methods.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
* Proficiency in one or more dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary).
* Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
* A relevant qualification in dance or education is advantageous but not essential.
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for dance in students of all ages.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: £25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.5 – 3 per week
