Our amazing #TeamSchoolPark in Strichen are on the look out for new colleagues on a part-time (16, 20, 25 or 30 hours per week) permanent basis.
Our team and the individuals you'll support
As a Support Practitioner, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports five amazing and unique individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home.
Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day to day needs which includes administering medication, physio activities, moving and assisting, personal care, appointments and housework.
Some of the individuals also enjoy being an active part of their community, so you may also find yourself being involved in activities like going for walks, riding wheelchair bikes, bingo, supporting in the swimming pool and snoozelin.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC yearly registration fees too!
If you don't live in Strichen and are not a driver, we will need you to be mindful of the location of our service and be confident that you can travel for your shifts as there are very limited public transport links available that fit with our shift patterns.

Shift Patterns
We have various contracts available, including weekend only contracts. As we’re dedicated to providing the best support possible, shifts patterns usually fall between the hours of - hours and waking nights (- hours). Weekends are worked on a rotational basis.
Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 for every waking night worked.
