Job Overview
The role involves selling our full range of products or services to customers, primarily via phone, email, and online channels. Key responsibilities include generating new leads, qualifying existing leads and spot quoting, with a specific focus on quotation conversions. The role will require negotiating sales, and closing deals, all while managing customer relationships and updating sales records in our internal CRM system.
Duties
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Researching and identifying potential clients and reaching out to them via outbound calls, emails, and social media.
Inbound Lead Follow-Up:
Responding to leads generated, qualifying them, and moving them through the sales pipeline.
Customer Engagement:
Communicating with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions through phone, email, and online channels.
Product Demonstration:
Conducting virtual product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the company's offerings.
Pipeline Management:
Managing a list of prospects and ongoing opportunities, keeping detailed and accurate records in a CRM system.
Sales Negotiation & Closing:
Negotiating sales terms, addressing objections, and closing deals to meet revenue targets.
Relationship Building:
Fostering strong relationships with customers by providing support and follow-up after a sale.
Departmental Spot Quoting (Road & Ocean):
Arranging internal spot quotes generated by the road and ocean divisions and working them through to conversion.
