We’re looking for a brave DevOps Engineer to join our growing wolf pack. This champion will be responsible for building, maintaining, and securing cloud-native infrastructure, enabling fast and reliable software delivery across multiple teams.
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work hands-on across AWS environments, manage containerized applications, and build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. You’ll collaborate closely with development teams, implement infrastructure as code, and work alongside the Head of Infrastructure and DevOps to ensure security and reliability. If you dream of sharing a quest with a small team and the opportunity to shape core systems and processes gives you goosebumps, this role howls your name.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
* Build, manage, and maintain containerized application infrastructure
* Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for multiple development teams
* Implement and manage infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
* Monitor, secure, and troubleshoot AWS-based infrastructure
* Collaborate closely with developers to enable fast, secure deployments
* Handle infrastructure-level security and compliance considerations
* Respond to and resolve production incidents within an on-call rota
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or related engineering role
* Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, ECS or EKS)
* Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker
* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CircleCI, or similar)
* Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
* Proficiency with relevant tools and security practices
Bonus Points:
* Experience working with MySQL, NGINX, or PHP platforms or applications is a plus, but not required
* Ability to see in the dark or communicate with haunting spirits is highly valued
Note: The last paragraph about UI Developer, Junior Developer, PHP Developer, Backend Leader, Senior DevOps Engineer, and Software Engineer Team Lead, as well as the description of Overwolf and its mission, appears to be unrelated to the primary DevOps Engineer role. It seems to be extraneous content and has been omitted for clarity and focus.
