Our aim is to support service users to live the lifestyle of their choice and promote independence, focusing on their individual goals and aspirations. We are seeking a special person who is committed to assist the service in delivering quality person-centred support.
It is a really varied job, with all kinds of different activities to organise and participate in - both at the service and in the local community:
We help people we support in a variety of ways - no two days are ever the same.
Your day could involve supporting service users to choir practice, supporting a service user who writes their own songs and records them at a recording studio in the city centre and also supporting a service user who plays in a brass band. In the community, service users enjoy going to local pubs for meals, going to the cinema and going swimming. We are also eager to provide good in service activities such as yoga, board games, baking and more. We maintain a high quality level of personalised support, enabling our service users to holistically live their best lives.
You'll get huge job satisfaction from seeing the people you are supporting do more for themselves and live the life they want to live. If you're interested in building a career, we're here to support you all the way on your own journey.
