Resort Assistant Champneys Tring Contract: Part Time Salary: £13.00 per hour plus tips 24 hours per week At Champneys, the Resort Assistant role is unlike any other. It is one of the most visible, wide ranging and influential positions within our resorts, and one that plays a vital role in shaping the guest experience. As a Resort Assistant, you will be at the heart of the operation, working across multiple departments and supporting both guests and senior teams. You will be trusted to spot what’s needed before it’s asked for, move seamlessly between activities, and represent Champneys with professionalism, warmth and confidence at all times. Why this role is special You will touch almost every part of the resort, gaining unrivalled exposure to how a complex luxury operation runs You’ll be high profile and high impact, regularly interacting with guests, Heads of Department and senior leaders You’ll develop quickly, building strong operational, customer service and communication skills No two days are the same, this role offers pace, responsibility and progression potential Your role will include: Working closely with department heads to ensure all areas of the resort are immaculately presented and operating smoothly Providing exceptional, intuitive guest service, anticipating needs and responding confidently to guest requests Acting as a welcoming ambassador for Champneys, including conducting guided resort tours in line with training guidelines Supporting managers with day to day operational tasks, including stock levels, porterage and logistics Moving flexibly between departments to provide support where it is most needed Ensuring public areas are clean, well presented and free from obstruction, escalating issues promptly where identified Completing daily operational checklists and supporting general administration where required Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and personal presentation at all times This role suits someone who is: Proactive, adaptable and confident in a guest facing environment Proud to represent a luxury brand and comfortable working at pace Curious about hospitality operations and keen to learn Reliable, observant and trusted to get things done well At Champneys, Resort Assistants are key to ensuring that everything flows seamlessly behind the scenes, and that every guest feels welcomed, supported and completely at ease.
