Job Title: Deputy Head Teacher

As our services continue to expand, we're excited to be recruiting a Deputy Head Teacher – Teaching and Learning – CPD to join the exceptional team at Bankside School, part of Options Autism.
The successful applicant will support the Headteacher in overseeing the quality of provision support in line with the school vision; support the Headteacher in leading on the effective implementation of school policy of strategy and support new pupils through transition into school, including supporting those on transitional timetables.
You will oversee, promote and improve teacher standards across the school; monitor and the CPD programme and profile for the school and embed robust quality assurance across the school. Support all staff in understanding the curriculum and the way in which this is adapted to meet the needs of SEN pupils and promote a culture and practice that enables all pupils and young people to access the curriculum.
You will support the Headteacher in monitoring progress of pupils and young people and will work with the SLT, subject leads and teachers to ensure all pupils learning is of equal importance and that there are high and realistic expectations of pupils.
Bachelors Degree and PGCE
Bankside School is an exciting new venture that opened September 2023 near Hanley Castle, Worcester. Our new specialist school will cater for pupils aged 11-18 years old with Autism, Complex needs and learning disabilities and has the capacity for c60 students.
