<div><p><b>Commercial Marketing Performance Manager</b></p><p><b>Location:</b> Leeds or Halifax</p><p><b>Salary:</b>£61,344 - £74,976 pa</p><p><b>Contract:</b> Permanent, Full Time (35 hours)</p><h3>About this opportunity</h3><p>Were looking for a commercially focused and data-driven <b>Commercial Marketing Performance Manager</b> to join our <b>Affluent, Save & Invest Full Funnel Marketing team</b> within Brands, Marketing & Experience.</p><p>This role sits at the heart of our <b>Strategy & Performance function</b>, with accountability for driving and optimising the commercial performance of marketing.</p><p>Youll own performance tracking, reporting and forecasting-using data and insight to monitor outcomes, optimise investment and ensure spend is aligned to clear financial targets.</p><p>This role is focused on in-year performance, trading and optimisation, ensuring marketing investment delivers against financial targets and commercial priorities. Its a great fit for someone whos commercially sharp, highly data-literate, and comfortable navigating complexity to drive clear, insight-led decisions.</p><h3>What youll be doing</h3><h3>Performance & trading management</h3><ul><li>Leading in-year trading cycles, using real-time performance data, forecasting and scenario planning to track delivery against targets and optimise plans dynamically</li><li>Designing and owning performance tracking and reporting frameworks to ensure clear visibility of outcomes and enable data-led decision making</li><li>Identifying risks and opportunities early, and driving timely interventions to stay on track</li><li>Being responsible for the allocation and management of the Affluent, Save & Invest Marketing Budget and the annual Marketing Contribution targets and performance.</li></ul><h3>Driving return on investment and improving marketing efficiency</h3><ul><li>Maximising return on investment by continuously optimising spend using performance data, channel efficiency insights and commercial analysis</li><li>Collaborating with Insight, Planning and Effectiveness teams to evaluate performance and ensure activity delivers measurable commercial value</li><li>Embedding robust measurement frameworks to track, evaluate and improve marketing effectiveness over time</li></ul><h3>Strategy alignment & optimisation</h3><ul><li>Translating business priorities into clear marketing targets and performance metrics aligned to commercial outcomes</li><li>Driving consistency in how marketing performance is measured, evaluated and improved across the team</li></ul><h3>Storytelling using data-insights</h3><ul><li>Creating clear, compelling narratives that translate complex performance data into actionable insight</li></ul><h3>What you’ll bring</h3><p>We know that great talent comes from many different backgrounds. While this role references specific experience, we recognise that skills can be developed in a variety of ways-so if you have relevant, transferable experience, wed love to hear from you.</p><p>Were looking for a proactive, commercially minded individual who is comfortable working with complexity, using data and insight to inform decisions, and driving performance in a fast‑paced environment</p><p>You’ll also bring proven experience and track record across:</p><h3>Commercial & strategic foresight (5+ years)</h3><ul><li>Strong understanding of revenue drivers, return on investment, cost management and value creation</li><li>Experience in owning the annual marketing budget and commercial targets and aligning marketing activity directly to commercial outcomes and growth priorities</li></ul><h3>Performance & trading management (5+ years)</h3><ul><li>Experience running in‑year trading cycles and tracking performance against targets</li><li>Ability to identify risks and opportunities early and adapt plans at pace</li></ul><h3>Analytical & data expertise (5+ years)</h3><ul><li>Advanced analytical capability, with experience working with complex datasets, modelling and forecasting and ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling commercial insight</li><li>Strong experience using data to inform decisions, challenge assumptions and optimise outcomes</li><li>Confidence with tools such as Excel for forecasting, scenario planning and return on investment analysis</li></ul><h3>It would be great if you also had</h3><ul><li>Experience within financial services or a regulated environment</li><li>Experience in marketing effectiveness, optimisation or performance roles</li><li>Exposure to affluent, wealth, savings or investment products</li></ul><h3>WHY JOIN US?</h3><p>This role offers the opportunity to shape the commercial performance of marketing in a key growth area of the business.
