Main duties of the job
As a Second Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will help the Head Chef in developing and delivering high-quality, balanced menus made with fresh, seasonal produce. You will also work closely with residents to understand their preferences and tailor the menus accordingly. The role involves managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, leading and inspiring the team, and ensuring efficient stock control and budgeting.

NEED TO HAVE

* Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent
* Experience in helping lead and inspire a team
* A good understanding of nutrition

Qualifications
* You will need to hold a City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification, and have experience in helping lead and inspire a team. A good understanding of nutrition and experience working with fresh, seasonal food are also required.
