Nottingham Girls' High School, part of the GDST, seeks a dedicated practitioner to provide 1:1 support for a student with an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP), specifically relating to Autism and ADHD.

Job overview
* You will work closely with the SENDCo and class teachers to deliver high quality, personalised support across learning, behaviour, communication and social development and be responsible for the following:
* Supporting planning and delivery of targeted 1:1 interventions
* Preparing and adapting resources to ensure curriculum access
* Implementing emotional literacy, communication and sensory support strategies
* Delivering structured break and lunchtime support
* Providing multi sensory learning support
* Monitoring progress and maintaining records
* Liaising with colleagues, parents and external professionals
* Supporting trips and wider school life
Job requirements
* Relevant TA/HLTA qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD
* Strong communication, empathy and active listening skills
* Ability to adapt learning materials
* Strong observational and record keeping skills
* Collaborative, calm, flexible and professional
