Receptionist – Corsham or Farnborough
Department: Security
Reports to: Security Manager
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to manage the day-to-day running of the main reception area across two data centre sites. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive, customer-focused first impression, while also supporting site security processes and visitor access management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a professional, friendly ‘Front of House’ experience to all visitors and staff.
* Issue Access ID cards to permanent staff and contractors in line with security protocols.
* Process visitor access requests and bookings via the portal and email.
* Liaise with other receptions on the business park to coordinate visitor access.
* Coordinate on-site support services and handle general reception enquiries.
* Update the key management system to reflect changes in access.
* Collaborate with reception staff across sites to ensure smooth, consistent service.
* Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area and manage office supplies.
* Produce audits and reports for the Security Manager as required.
About You:
* Previous experience working in a customer-facing reception role.
* Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good attention to detail and effective time management.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard office systems.
* Previous experience with access control systems is desirable but not essential.
* NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services is desirable.
