Corporate Relationships Manager (New Business)

Do you have experience and skills in business development or establishing new business relationships? Can you develop bespoke packages to create new partnerships?

About the role

To support this work, we are looking for a New Business Manager (internally known as Corporate Relationship Manager) to identify national partnerships and opportunities for income generation. You will research suitable businesses; create tailored packages; and pitch and propose an attractive membership partnership with SMG, aiming to secure income to support the Group’s future aspirations within STEM.

This is a varied and exciting opportunity, and every day will be different in this relationships‑focused role. At any point, you could be spending time building relationships with corporations, networking and presenting a variety of concepts of what our Group has to offer.

About you

Whether you are ready to take the next step in your career or are keen to expand the breadth of your relationship‑building skillset, you will bring experience of, and an enthusiasm for, building partnerships within the corporate/sales sector. We are open to how you have gained your experience, and instead the focus will be on your ability to cultivate new relationships and align objectives.

You will bring commitment to a collaborative and team‑orientated environment and enjoy meeting targets. With the ability to deliver persuasive presentations, you have a skill in networking and maintain positive relationships.
