Responsibilities
* Maintaining and managing IBM Netcool & SevOne platforms.
* Delivering integrated Network monitoring solutions across multiple technologies.
* Reporting on critical network compliance and availability.
* Interface to Network and Operational Teams to support their monitoring requirements.
* Create reporting for troubleshooting and capacity planning.
* Ensuring processes and procedures are followed.
* CCNA or equivalent in routing & switching.
* IBM Certified associate in Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus V8.1.
* Proven experience administering IBM Netcool Operations Insight.
* Strong background supporting UNIX, Linux & Windows operating systems.
* Advanced understanding of protocols including TCP/IP, SNMP.
* Knowledge of html, cgi, Java and XML
* Confident troubleshooting knowledge using TCP Dumps, PCAP files.
* Working knowledge of security network technologies including firewall, proxy, IPS, WAF, VPN.
