3. Design, deliver and maintain engaging CI and LEAN training programmes to build capability across Production, Materials, and Operations teams.
4. Act as an expert, enabler, and facilitator, supporting teams to achieve Operational Excellence and deliver outstanding customer service.
5. Capture, map, and simplify key business processes to support the wider transformation strategy and deliver measurable improvement.
6. Prioritise and manage improvement activities to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business needs.

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

7. Strong Continuous Improvement mindset with the ability to drive positive change.

11. Skilled in delivering Lean Six Sigma (or similar) projects, training, and coaching.
12. Able to prioritise effectively and work well in a fast-paced environment.
13. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent qualification desirable.

As well as a competitive salary, we’ll also offer you:

14. An excellent defined benefit Railway pension scheme
15. 32 days’ holiday in the first 2 years; moving up to 34 days’ thereafter
16. Free First Class duty travel on the EMR network

20. Employee benefits portal with access to generous discounts, Cycle 2 Work Scheme …and many more!

While located in Derby this role will be expected to work across all EMR Fleet Locations and where required.

We are open minded to applications from people who wish to have flexible working. Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need. We can’t promise to give you exactly what you want, but we do promise not to judge you for asking.
