You’ll be joining a Series A-stage fintech with momentum—shipping fast, tackling real-world problems, and working in tight feedback loops with customers across Africa.
As a Senior Engineer, you'll go end-to-end: from scoping and UX through to backend logic, devops, and customer feedback. You'll collaborate directly with founders and own critical parts of the product from day one.
?? What You’ll Work On
* Build intuitive, high-performance interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
* Architect and scale secure backend systems in Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL
* Design and deliver features end-to-end—from frontend UI to backend logic and infra
* Help shape product decisions and engineering best practices
* Improve internal operations by building powerful tools and automation
* Projects range from KYC flows and OCR pipelines to WhatsApp bots and transaction engines
* Contribute to a high-trust, impact-driven engineering culture with real ownership
? What We're Looking For
* Experience building and shipping fullstack products in VC-backed startups
* Proficient with TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL
* Clear, thoughtful communicator with both technical and non-technical collaborators
* Curiosity and empathy—driven by a desire to solve customer problems, not just write code
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and collaborative early-stage environment
* London or Paris-based; hybrid in-office 3 days per week

* Fluent in French
* Experience in fintech or emerging markets
* Have worked in a Pre-seed or Series-A start-up/scale-up
