Supply Chain & Logistics Manager in Kingston - Hybrid
Location: Kingston with limited parking, very close to town centre and train/bus links
Hours: Flexible working hours, start between 8:30-10 am, finish between 4:30-6 pm
Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 at home

Join my client, a leading organisation with over 30 years of dedication to health and sustainability! They are on the lookout for a dynamic Supply Chain & Logistics Team Lead to join their growing family. This role will eventually grow into leading and developing a dedicated team of two!
As a Supply Chain & Logistics Team Lead, you will play a vital role in the end-to-end coordination of inventory management, importing, warehouse operations, and logistics. Your mission? To ensure optimal stock levels, efficient processes, timely imports, and flawless deliveries, all while maintaining strong cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Control & Inventory Management
1. Ensure accurate stock levels across all warehouses
2. Monitor stock ageing, shelf life, and batch control
3. Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory
4. Collaborate with Sales and Finance to forecast stock requirements
5. Maintain ERP (NetSuite) data accuracy
Importing & Exporting
6. Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders
7. Coordinate freight bookings and oversee customs clearance
8. Ensure compliance with import regulations
9. Work with the operations team to ensure accurate export documentation
Transport & Logistics
10. Reduce freight costs through strategic negotiation and planning
11. Ensure on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery performance
Reporting & Performance
12. Develop and monitor KPIs
13. Report supply chain performance to senior management
14. Identify and implement process improvements
Team Leadership
15. Set clear performance objectives and conduct training
16. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential
17. Experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations
18. Strong stock control and inventory management expertise
19. Experience managing imports and international freight
20. Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
21. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Desirable
22. Experience with supply chains
23. Demand planning experience
24. 3PL management experience
