Role Overview
As a Science Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 opportunities in some schools
2. Teach specialist Science subjects in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, depending on your expertise
3. Foster analytical thinking, scientific literacy, and a love of experimentation through hands-on learning
4. Use innovative teaching strategies and up-to-date resources to meet the needs of all learners
5. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to improve outcomes
6. Contribute to the development of an inspiring and inclusive Science curriculum
7. Lead or support extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, fairs, and STEM outreach
What We're Looking For
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
9. Confident subject knowledge and curriculum understanding in Science
10. Creative, adaptable, and engaging teaching style to support students of varying abilities
11. Strong classroom presence with excellent communication and organisational skills
12. Passionate about STEM education and inspiring student aspirations
13. Collaborative team player eager to contribute to a forward-thinking department
14. Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers seeking a fresh challenge
