The Role
* Managing the school’s financial health, including budget setting, monitoring, and long-term financial planning
* Overseeing the school’s estate, including premises maintenance, health & safety, and capital projects
* Leading the administrative and support staff teams to ensure efficient daily operations
* Managing Human Resources functions, including recruitment, payroll liaison, and compliance with employment law
* Securing additional funding through grant applications and income-generating initiatives
* Ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements, audits, and data protection (GDPR)
* Reporting to the Headteacher and Governing Body on financial and operational performance
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* A degree in Business Management, Accountancy, or a DSBM/CSBM qualification
* Previous experience in a senior administrative or financial role, ideally within an education setting
* Proficiency in school MIS and financial software (e.g., FMS, SIMS, or Arbor)
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* A professional, resilient, and proactive approach to school leadership
