Our client is seeking a proactive and organised individual to join their residential property team as a Residential Property Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about supporting residential property matters, looking to advance within a dynamic and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support across a variety of residential property transactions, ensuring efficient file and document management from instruction to completion.
* Assist with drafting and preparing legal documentation, correspondence, and reports related to sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other third parties, providing updates and ensuring clear, professional communication throughout service delivery.
* Support the property team in maintaining regulatory and compliance standards, including GDPR, SRA, Anti-Money Laundering, and internal protocols.
* Carry out searches, request documentation, and accurately record case progress within the case management system.
* Proactively manage deadlines, queries, and outstanding actions, escalating issues to senior team members as required.
* Participate in team meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives within the residential property department.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Previous administrative or support experience within a residential property / conveyancing.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to deadlines in a busy office.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, displaying professionalism and empathy in client and colleague interactions.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail across all documentation and data input.
* IT literate, capable of using case management systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.
* Ability to adapt and be proactive when dealing with new challenges or changing priorities.
* Keen willingness to learn and develop within the residential property field.
