This full‑time Consultant Plastic Surgeon role spans the Plastic Surgery and Breast Services at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust. Main duties of the job
* Manage the full range of plastic and breast surgery emergency and elective patients at NUH NHS Trust.
* Provide patient care in collaboration with consultant colleagues as clinically appropriate.
* Offer crossover coverage during colleague absence and maintain responsibility for assigned patients, ensuring effective service continuity.
* Devote the majority of professional time to the post duties and prioritise responsibilities in line with Trust expectations.

Person specification
Professional Registration
* Full GMC registration.
* Eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register.
* Completion of CCT / Portfolio Pathway registration expected within 6 months of interview date.
Professional Qualifications / Development and Clinical Skills
* FRCS (Plast) or equivalent.
* Fellowship level experience in Breast Microsurgery.
* Fellowship level experience in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery.
* Evidence of technical skills as described in the job description.
* Effective communication with patients, families, and health professionals.
* Higher professional degree.
* Fellowship level experience in Orthoplastic reconstruction.
* Specific training in communication skills.
Other
* Demonstrated ability to develop, present, and implement service development initiatives.
