You will be responsible for servicing your own book of Corporate clients which will involve managing renewals, mid-term adjustments and generally handling any queries that come through from your clients, in a quick and professional manner.
This position will suit an experienced Commercial Account Handler however, we will also consider candidates from Commercial Underwriting backgrounds, where there is a desire to move into servicing.
Although aligned to the Milton Keynes office, you will be able to work from home, coming into the office occasionally as you require and to collaborate with your colleagues in the team.
As a Commercial Account Handler your responsibilities will include:
1. Responsible for a portfolio of accounts ranging from standalone statutory covers up to large complex risks (including Property, BI, Motor, Liability and Group Travel/PA, Marine & Financial Lines programs)
2. Oversee all renewal procedures from start to finish including renewal strategy, risk presentations to the market, negotiations of terms obtained from Insurers and creation of Renewal Reports
3. Respond to day to day enquiries via email, post, web link or telephone
4. Ensure that all Compliance/Operational platforms and procedures are followed
5. Attend and support client visits as required or requested
6. Working closely with overseas offices
To be a successful Commercial Account Handler you will have:
7. Commercial Insurance knowledge/experience from a Broking or Underwriting background
