Job Title: BIM Manager / Information Manager / Digital Construction Manager
Location: Hertfordshire, London, Remote,
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Package (DOE)
Overview:
We are representing a leading main contractor with a strong portfolio across the Life Sciences, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, MOJ and Commercial sectors. They are seeking two BIM Managers / Information Managers / Digital Construction Managers to lead the delivery of digital construction processes, ensuring projects are designed and executed in line with industry standards and client requirements.
Role Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of BIM and digital construction workflows across multiple projects. This includes managing information exchanges, validating project data, supporting project teams with Revit deliverables, and driving innovation in digital practices to support project efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in line with ISO 19650 standards.
* Validate the Project Information Model (PIM) to ensure deliverables comply with agreed processes, meet defined levels set out in the BEP, and are accurate.
* Accept or reject information exchanges, enforcing agreed project Information Modelling standards.
* Ensure delivery aligns with the requirements of the Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs).
* Manage and coordinate digital information delivery across the design and construction phases.
* Oversee model production, validation, and quality assurance using Revit and associated software.
* Facilitate collaboration between internal design teams, external consultants and supply chain partners.
* Provide training and guidance to project staff on BIM tools and processes.
* Act as the point of contact for all BIM/digital construction matters on live projects.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in digital construction workflows.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a BIM Manager, Information Manager or Digital Construction Manager within a main contractor or consultancy environment.
* Strong technical expertise with Revit and BIM software platforms.
* Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and practical experience implementing them on projects.
* Understanding of BEPs, PIMs, EIRs and information exchange processes.
* Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
* Experience across relevant sectors such as Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Life Sciences, MOJ or Commercial projects.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Desirable:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field.
* Membership of a relevant professional body (CIOB, ICE, RICS, etc.).
* Familiarity with common data environment platforms and digital collaboration tools.
