Hayley Dexis is recruiting for an Inventory Supervisor to join our well-established and experienced Logistics Team.
About the role
The main objective is to effectively monitor, maintain and maximise UK stock holdings while working closely with the branch network. You will lead daily inventory control across all stock locations and branches, maintaining accurate records in the systems and ensuring high levels of accuracy. Your primary deliverable is to ensure system data balances match physical stock in each location.
Key responsibilities
* Proactively conduct stock checking, ensuring accurate bin locations and providing support to the network.
* Lead rolling stock cleanse projects to maintain min/max volumes, deal with expired stock and support disposal or relocation decisions.
* Oversee the rolling annual stock checking process, monitor performance against targets and flag locations behind schedule.
* Execute end‑of‑year stock audits.
* Manage escalations from the team, especially regarding high‑value stock issues.
* Generate and manipulate data reports in Excel, including pivot tables and demand‑versus‑usage analysis.
* Play a significant role in the transition from SXe to M3.
Qualifications
* Experience using SXe and familiarity with our products and locations.
* High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft products.
* Previous experience in an inventory or similar stock role.
* Strong knowledge of inventory control principles.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to challenge constructively and multi‑task while prioritising.
* Strong attention to detail and confident communication.
* Enjoying autonomy and demonstrating ownership and accountability.

Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, based in Halesowen.
