As an English Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across the curriculum. Plan and prepare lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Assess, record, and monitor pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback. Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community. Requirements for English Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential. Experience teaching English at UK school level. Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management. A passion for inspiring pupils and raising attainment. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
