Hours and role overview
Hours: Waking nights (4 on / 4 off).
Those huge small victories
Working in our Children’s Homes means being part of a young person’s day-to-day life. This role supports the highest highs and lowest lows, helping young people get their childhood back and create pathways to become well-rounded adults. There will be challenges, but also moments that feel like huge small victories.
Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcome for the young people in our care. Night support workers are fulfilled by making small positive changes and celebrating the little things.
Get out what you put in
You’ll take care of the home and our young people through the night. A young person may wake up dealing with trauma, illness, upset or trouble sleeping. Having someone there who understands and can provide support makes a big difference. Building rapport and becoming someone the young people can trust in their time of need is what we are looking for. In quieter times you will handle tasks around the home such as paperwork, cleaning and laundry. Working here is meaningful and matters, guiding each young person toward a positive future.
What we do for you
We know you’re going to do great things. For your hard work and commitment, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package. You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of our young people, plus you’ll receive:

* Bonuses: £1,400 Attendance Allowance – subject to good attendance
