Undertake CPD, including subsidised TEAM TEACH courses.

Teaching Personnel have a strong focus this next term on delivering focused behaviour and attendance support in a range of Primary schools due to a recent demand for such support assistants.
With this in mind, Teaching Personnel in Lancashire are looking to recruit teaching assistants or University graduates with previous experiences working alongside children with behavioural difficulties.
We have been approached by a ‘Good’ Blackburn Primary School, to provide experienced 1:1 behaviour support assistants to manage pupil behaviour in a classroom based setting. This particular role is to support a Year 6 pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. The role is to start after ASAP and will run until May 2026 with the opportunity to secure a permanent position working with children across KS1 and KS2.
It is essential you have worked either on a voluntary/temporary or on a permanent basis in a Primary setting before now and have a passion to work on a 1:1 basis with ‘challenging’ children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
