Unqualified Teachers needed to work in secondary schools across Lambeth Area. Principal Education is looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to work as unqualified teachers and cover supervisors in secondary schools across London. These are flexible, daily supply roles you choose when you re available.
The role
As a cover supervisor, you ll manage a classroom in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment. You won t be expected to plan or teach lessons, but you ll play a key role in supporting pupils learning and behaviour.
What you MUST demonstrate
* Right to work in the UK
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
* Flexibility, adaptability, and confidence to think on your feet
* Calmness under pressure
* An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Overseas police clearance if you ve lived abroad for 6+ months in the last 5 years
* Based in Lambeth or within a commutable distance
Pay and benefits
* £110 £130 per day for flexible daily cover
* Higher pay rates for ongoing roles, aligned with the unqualified teacher pay scale (see guidance here)
