Salary: Grade L £50,269 - £53,460 a year

A new opportunity has arisen to join our well-established Facilities Management Team. Our aim is to ensure the safe and efficient running of various council buildings.
Join our team as Facilities Manager - People, responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective running of services that support the safe operation of several council owned buildings across Derby.
We are looking for an individual that is motivated by change. You will challenge the status quo, bringing your team on the journey and driving cultural improvement. The role will be broad, reviewing and improving processes and systems and building a stronger future. You will be a natural leader, able to motivate your team, lead by example and play a key role as a member of a wider senior leadership team.
The role will be responsible for the management and oversight of the services that ensure all the buildings in the portfolio are kept clean, that maintenance and service requests are managed effectively and efficiently, and that the various contracts associated with the wider facilities management service are produced, monitored, reviewed and audited. This role will sit beside other Managers to form a strong leadership team within the wider Accommodation, Facilities and Health & Safety Service.
