This includes managing month-end close, overseeing submissions, and ensuring adherence to IFRS. * Lead month-end close and financial reporting to Group HQ.
* Ensure timely and compliant submissions with clear, insightful commentary.
* Analyse budget vs. actuals, identifying trends and working with FP&A on reporting improvements.
* Review P&L and balance sheet accounts; flag risks and drive follow-up actions.
* Liaise with senior management to strengthen financial controls and risk management processes.
* Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and guide the business on accounting developments.
* Act as lead contact for external and internal audits, ensuring timely resolutions and process improvements.
* Oversee internal controls, identify gaps, and support enhancements across departments.
* Own the audit cycle from planning to reporting, collaborating with auditors and internal stakeholders.
* Work with external tax advisors to manage tax planning and submissions.
* Oversee corporation tax returns and indirect tax processes.
* Ensure timely completion of statutory and regulatory filings.
* Manage cash flow forecasting, FX planning, and treasury operations.
* Review banking arrangements and ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
* Manage and develop the finance team, setting clear goals and supporting personal development.
* Drive engagement and visibility across business initiatives.
* Evaluate team capabilities and deliver training as needed.
* Oversee AP processes, championing efficiency and accuracy.
* Maintain and update finance policy documentation and internal controls.
* Lead initiatives to streamline processes and improve reporting.
Profile
* Qualified - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
* Experience working in a complex environment
* Advanced Excel
* Proven ability to manage and motivate teams
* Highly organised, dependable, and great attention to detail
