The Role
As the EHS Manager, you will lead a team responsible for driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal standards. You’ll play a key role in shaping the site’s strategic approach to health, safety, and environmental performance, while also supporting employee wellbeing through occupational health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the EHS team to deliver site-wide initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with UK legislation, corporate policies, and ISO14001 standards
* Act as the site lead for audits, inspections, and emergency response planning
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training, engagement, and performance tracking
* Collaborate with Occupational Health professionals to support employee health and wellbeing
* Represent the site in global forums and liaise with external regulatory bodies.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience leading an EHS team in a similar role to achieve successBackground in a Manufacturing FacilityStrong working knowledge of UK EHS legislation and best practicesExperience implementing and managing ISO14001 or equivalent systems
