Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting an Alternative Provision in Hindley.
We are recruiting enthusiastic and capable English Teacher.
The academy offers special support to young people from 6 to 16 years old who are having difficulties in school. Learners who attend the provision receive support with their education for a variety of reasons. The aim is to help every learner achieve their full potential, working together with parents and outside agencies to ensure every child achieves as well as they can.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.50am – 14.30pm.
What we’re looking for:
* A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g school, residential, sports coaching.
* Experience supporting Social, Emotional, Mental Health
* An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
* A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.
Successful candidates must have:
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one.
* At least two references including most recent/current employer.
* Right to work in the UK.
* A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
