Engineering Manager – Electronics & Product Development

At Stiltz, we're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented multidisciplinary engineering team, influence the development of our exciting homelift product range, and play a key role in delivering solutions from concept through to manufacture.
You will have a strong technical understanding with excellent project and people leadership skills across electronics, embedded systems, software, and electromechanical product development.
What you will do:
* Lead research and development projects from concept through to manufacturing handover, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, quality, and business objectives
* Manage and support multidisciplinary engineering teams, creating a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing environment
* Provide technical leadership on electronics-led and electromechanical projects, supporting robust and practical engineering solutions
* Monitor project progress, risks, priorities, and resources to maintain momentum and remove delivery obstacles
* Lead project reviews and communicate progress, risks, and key decisions clearly to stakeholders
* Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation and product readiness
* Support effective validation, testing, documentation, and engineering change processes to maintain compliance and product quality
* Promote continuous improvement and strong engineering practices across teams

What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in leading engineering or technical product development projects
* Established engineering leadership experience within a multidisciplinary product development environment
* Strong understanding of electronics, electrical systems, embedded systems, or electromechanical products
* Ability to balance technical detail with project-level delivery focus
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacture principles
* Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards
Desirable
* Experience with Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, or similar project management methods
