Job Title: Band 2 Patient Pathway Support Officer (22.5 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Audiology, ENT & Oral Services administration team as a Band 2 Patient Pathway Support Officer. This role involves working 22.5 hours per week over three days.
Main Duties
1. Handling telephone inquiries professionally.
2. Inputting and retrieving data on Trust IT systems following Trust policies.
3. Ensuring daily opening and proper handling of post.
4. Supporting colleagues during busy periods as directed by the Line Manager.
5. Participating in the introduction of new technology and practices for departmental efficiency.
6. Photocopying, scanning, and filing correspondence and documents.
7. Communicating with staff and service users effectively.
8. Providing a point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
9. Demonstrating sensitivity and empathy when communicating, including managing difficult situations.
10. Attending administrative and departmental meetings regularly.
11. Contributing to effective teamwork through open communication and idea sharing.
